From an early career working with industry leaders such as John Holland, McConnell Dowell, Fulton Hogan, and Downer Lauren, as founder and owner of Karan & Co, brings over 15 years of recruiting expertise at the highest levels of the technical, engineering, building and civil construction sectors.

Lauren has an exceptional reputation for quality, connecting others and developing lasting relationships using her background in Psychology and certifications in behavioural interviewing, psychometric testing, and organisational coaching to deliver strategic hiring solutions.

She established Karan & Co to provide her chosen segments a recruitment model focused on partnership and cultural alignment, delivering long-term results to delight both clients and candidates and to set a new quality standard in recruitment away from often shallow transactional interactions, towards deep relationships as a trusted adviser.

Known for her “people-first” philosophy and an honest, authentic approach that fosters trust and repeat business relationships, she specialises in sourcing people based on a deep understanding of team dynamics, market trends, and organisational goals.
